And that gave me the inspiration for this blog post.
Then, we communicate with Him through our prayers. And thanks be to God, even though Jesus left, we still have small piece of Heaven on Earth: the Eucharist. We can still come back to Him in Confession when we fail. All the sacraments are gifts from God and channels for us to be with God.
Jesus died for us. He was willing to suffer a lot even though he would have prefered to avoid it. Without Jesus' sacrifice we could never have been saved. Especially now during Lenten time, it's perfect for us to be reminded of His passion and His giving! Who are we to receive such great gift as His life-giving Love?!
Finally, there's the question of the revenue of God. He does not in fact need anything from his customers, but even so He will have a huge feast for every lost soul that is found and people offering Him their wills.
