The Holy Mass is the Holy Communion of all of us, it’s the moment that we are all in one and one in all. So, when Andi mentioned his inspiration for the name of the Youth Weekends, I immediately had this idea for the new poster.
In the poster, we have Christ and the Host in the middle. That is our bridge to each other and the important Mystery of the Holy Mass. Then, around that, we have the words “One Body in Christ” in different languages: Finnish, Swedish, English, Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Greek, German, etc. Because we are so multinational in our Diocese. And as the event is arranged in Stella Maris, around that central image we chose pictures that we took during last year's Youth Festival and some from earlier Youth Weekends.
In conclusion, I would like to ask you, my dear sisters and brothers in Christ, to remember that all of us are in Christ! And that’s why in our Church there are many vocations. Just like there are many organs in the human body and each one has a different function. As Fr. Gianni taught us last time, we are one in another and if one doesn't work the whole body will suffer. From my point of view, there are many congregations and associations in our Church, but none of those should close our mind. Therefore, we should be open to every Catholic even he or she is not from your group/congregation. That’s what it means for me, One Body in Christ and Christ the head of this harmonic work in the Church!
